When I woke up I was in the medicine cat den. It was early morning. The medicine cat looked up.
"I see your looking better," said Mistnose.
"Yeah. What happened?" I asked.
"Your friends found you in the field unconscious," said Mistnose. I looked into her blue eyes. "Do you know how you got there?" asked Mistnose. I nodded.
"Well. Would you mind telling me what happened?" asked Mistnose.
"No I wouldn't mind. It all started after Snakefeather and I went out of the camp. He told me to go and catch some prey from the field. I ran toward the field. When I got to the edge I sniffed the air and caught the scent of prey. I fallowed the scent, being careful of the borders. Then, I noticed a mouse. I sneaked up on it and caught it. Then, I put it in a safe place. I caught lots of prey after that. Then, as I was walking and sniffing for prey I heard this hissing. I knew something was up. Then, I was about to run when something jumped on me and coiled around me. It was an adder. The adder bit my leg and I think I got some poison in my leg. Then, my leg went numb. I fell to the ground and couldn't move. Then, another adder coiled itself around me. I was losing air from the constriction. Then, I heard a meow and one of the adders were off me. I looked up and saw another cat. He was a tabby," I said.
"Was he one from our clan?" asked Mistnose. I shook my head.
"No. I didn't know why but the cat got the other adder off me as well. Then, he fought the two adders and they left. Then, he asked me if I was okay. I said I was before I fainted," I said.
"Do you know what clan he was from?" asked Mistnose.
"I think he was from DawnClan. But I don't know why he would go across the border to help me," I said.
"I don't know. Some cats are just like that and can't stand to see a cat die," said Mistnose.
"Yeah," I said.
"Oh yeah. Be careful on that leg it may still be a little shaky," said Mistnose.
"Okay," I said. Then, I slowly tried getting up. It stung a bit but it was okay.
"It stings a bit but I'm going to be fine," I said.
"Okay," said Mistnose. I walked out into the shining sun. Owlpaw and Fawnpaw quickly ran toward me.
"Are you okay," they asked simultaneously. I nodded.
"Yeah I'm fine," I said.
"That's good," said Fawnpaw smiling. I smiled back at her. Snakefeather came over to me.
"How are you feeling?" he asked.
"Good," I said. Then, Dovesong and Cindertruth came and took Owlpaw and Fawnpaw out of camp. Snakefeather and I went out of camp and into the field.
"Do you want to practice your fighting skills?" asked Snakefeather.
"Sure," I replied. I got into my fighting stance. Snakefeather crouched down and leaped at me, claws out. I jumped up and as I was going over him he scratched my stomach. I growled landing on the ground. Snakefeather ran toward me and was about to slide under him he changed directions. When I was caught off guard he came from the side and jumped onto me. He pinned me to the ground and smiled. I tried to move but his paws were on top of my legs.
"Your done for," he said smirking.
