With Honeypaw...
I was slowly getting closer to DawnClan since I'd been walking all day since this morning. But I had the suspicion that I was being watched. I continued to watch, not even being tired. Soon, I came upon the blackpath.
"Be careful Honeypaw," I told myself. I knew that monsers roamed these paths and could kill me on sight. As crouched to listen for noises. There was a low rumbling as a monster roared across the path. I shivered and listened to the path again.
"Okay. No sounds," I said. Then, I started crossing the Blackpath. As I crossed there was a sudden rumbling as a monster came my way. I cried thinking (This is it. My death is going to be from a monster.)
"Watch out!" a voice called as a black cat leaped at me and we both skidded into the grass, avoiding getting hit by the monster. I got up to look at the cat that had saved my life.
It was a black tom cat with gray-blue eyes.
"What were you thinking! Did you want to get killed!" he said. I looked down as my claws came out. He noticed that and his claws came out. I continued to look down. Then, he stepped back a little. I knew he was waiting for me to make the first move so I ran straight toward him. He got into position but I was ready. Before he struck I jumped over him as he struck at the air. After hitting the ground I kept running. I knew he was caught off guard. But it wasn't for long. Soon, I heard him coming after me. (Okay. Let's see if he can beat this trick.) I though. Then, I suddenly jumped into a tree. I smiled as I heard him come closer. He stopped right under the tree I was in and smiled. Then, I leaped down. He quickly moved out of the way.
"How did you know?" I asked.
"Oh, so the girl finally speaks. Jumping into a tree is such an obvious thing in a woods like this," he said.
"Okay," I said.
"Now, are you going to work with me or not because I wouldn't mind at all chasing you longer," he said.
"Okay. You seem trustworthy enough. What do you want to know?" I asked. He walked up to me and then around me as if he were observing me.
"Your from EclipseClan or NewMoonClan," he said.
"Yes, I am. You probably knew from my scent," I said.
"That and I've heard the rumors about two cats disappearing from EclipseClan and then suddenly reappearing in NewMoonClan," he said.
"How can you tell it's me?" I asked.
"Because you have the smell of two clans. But the weird thing is that you don't have the red eyes, the orange fur, or the red fur and that's odd for a cat from EclipseClan not to have," he said.
"I know. But I still don't know if that's my real clan," I said.
"Same here," he said. I looked at him.
"Did you run away from your clan?" I asked.
"Yes. Did you," he asked.
"Yeah, I did," I answered.
"I know what clan you ran away from. You of course ran away from NewMoonClan. I ran away from FullMoonClan all the way up the mountain," he said. My ears perked up. ( One of my brothers are from FullMoonClan.) I thought.
"So, what's your name?" I asked as he still circled me.
"Crowpaw and yours?" he asked.
"Honeypaw," I said. It turned to face him.
"Your the cat from my dream," he said.
"You are the cat from mine," I said.
"That means your my sister. I wasn't expecting you to go out searching for Leafkit too," he said.
"Yeah, well he's the farthest from me. I might as well go find him first," I said.
"That's what I was thinking but I didn't think of stopping by EclipseClan or NewMoonClan on the way," said Crowpaw.
"Where for me I would've had to go up the mountain to get to you," I said.
"Yeah, that's true. Well, we should start moving. I think there's somebody watching us," he said.
"I had that same feeling earlier," I sad. So, we started to go through the forest getting closer to DawnClan. We continued to talk as we walked but kept a sharp eye out for other clan cats. That night it was a clear sky with beautiful stars.
"I wonder if Darkstream and Shadowclaw are actually our parents. This could be a trap," I said.
"Yeah. That's what I'm afraid of," said Crowpaw. Then, we both fell asleep. We continued on traveling closer day after day until we were finally at the bottom of the hill.
"Well. Here we are. At the top of this hill is DawnClan," I said.
"Yeah. We actually made it," said Crowpaw. We were excited but still went up the hill looking around cautiously for any sign of danger. Soon, we got to the top. The sun hit us in seconds. Even through the fog/ mist it was beautiful. We looked across the top of the hill. Then, a few cats came up to us.
"Who are you?" asked a light orange tom.
"I'm Honeypaw and this is Crowpaw. We're here to try to find a cat named Leafkit or Leafpaw," I said.
"We don't have a Leafpaw in this clan. But I'll take you to our leader," he said. Crowpaw and I fallowed him. The tom lead us into the leader's den. In there was a blue-grey she-cat. She turned to us and the orange tom walked up to her. He whispered something into her ear and she smiled.
"I knew you two were coming," she said.
"How could you have known?" asked Crowpaw.
"I had a cat fallowing you," she said pointing over to the light orange tom. He smiled.
"Once I knew what yo were up to I fallowed you. I started to fallow you two since the blackpath," he said. Then, the leader ,who we learned her name was Miststar, told us about a few things. She knew what Darkstream was up to and warned us not to go into the valley. We said we wouldn't and were accepted by DawnClan.
"You two belong here. This is your birth place. You guys were taken away by Darkstripe to the hills and put in new clans," said Miststar.
"So. Who are our parents?" I asked eagerly.
"Your parents have unfortunately died in the battle against MidnightClan. But they fought hard," said Miststar
"So, they died fighting for the clan," I said.
"Yes. But Honeypaw you have your moms green eyes and dappled fur. Crowpaw you have your father's dark fur and grey-blue eyes," she said. We both smiled.
"So. Do you want to join the clan of your family?" she asked. Crowpaw and I looked at each other and nodded.
"Yes," we said simultaneously. Then, the next day we had the acceptance ceremony. All of the cats treated us as if we were always apart of the clan. The best part was that I was happy here. Then, a few days later I heard a cry in the distance.
