Chapter 6: Sorrow and betrayal
I did it. I'd just told Bob that I was dark. He looked at me as Mutt ran over.
"She may be dark but she's light," she said. Then, he just left. The next day Bob came back.
"I want to talk to Emily alone," he said. I slowly backed away. But got forced to talk to him. Mutt put us in a force field. She couldn't hear us but if Bob attacked she would go attack him.
"When did this start?" he started.
"A while back," I answered.
"Before I took you in?" he asked. I nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me? I would've helped you," he said.
"No, you would've used me for your own selfish reasons. To attack my friends or something. You wouldn't help me!" I screamed at him in anger. Then, he used a very, very strong earthquake. I used protect starting to cry. (My family. Are they okay?) I asked myself. Mutt attacked Bob while I ran to the spot were my home once was. Now it was just a pile of rocks and dirt/mud in a deep hole. (My family was crushed.) I thought. I burst into tears looking at the pile. Then, something caught my eye. I walked over tears going down my face. As I got closer I saw it was a book. I opened it to see it was my family's diary. (So, they still use it.) I thought. I remembered when I was younger that each of us would write our thoughts in here when we wanted to. It was covered in dirt but the pages were still in tact. I kept it. My tears had disappeared. The next day Fox ran to me and told me one of the worst news. Mutt had joined up with Bob who was my one of my worst enemies. She'd now became an enemy.
