We easily made it to the camp. There were no cats out surprisingly.
"All the cats are out hunting, training, or nursing for kits. Leaffall is a busy time for all the clans," She said. We kept walking until we made it in a cave. In there was a orangery, red she-cat with a star on her forehead.
"Gingerpelt. What are you doing here?" asked the she-cat.
"I found a kit that was chased out of his clan Lavastar," said Gingerpelt. Lavastar turned around and came over to me. She glanced at Gingerpelt and Gingerpelt left. I stayed calm even if I was afraid as Lavastar walked in a circle around me.
"What's your name?" Lavastar asked.
"Tigerkit," I said. Lavastar looked at me in the eyes.
"I know you or at least I knew your mom," she said.
"How do you know my mom?" I asked.
"She was born into this clan," She said.
"How is that possible? I lived in New Moon clan with both of my parents," I said.
"When she was out patrolling around the area she met your father and fell in love with him. They met each other secretly. Then, she was pregnant with your brother and she wouldn't say who the father was. After your sister was born somebody saw them meeting secretly and it spread throughout the camp. After that your mother disappeared only to be found 9 moons later in New Moon Clan with your dad. She had you later on. That's how I know your mother. She betrayed our clan by loving a cat from an enemy clan. Now. Why are you here?" She asked after finishing her story.
"Wow that's how you knew her. How I got here was that my parents died last week in a battle against another clan. Then, two nights after my brother,Dustfur and a few other cats chased me out. It was mostly my brother that hurt me. My sister, Streamfur helped me escape and took some of the hits while I ran. I ended up running here. Then, Gingerpelt found me and took me here," I said.
"That makes sense. Our clan is closest to the New Moon Clan. Your brother probably chased you out because he thought you'd be too much to handle. You're lucky your sister helped you out or else you may not have made it. Your very lucky Tigerkit. I'll let you stay here for now and then I'll figure out what to do with you in the morning," Said Lavastar. I nodded and went outside. Gingerfur led me to the nursery. I slept quietly and peacefully. The next morning I was woken up by Gingerpelt and taken back to Lavastar.
"I've decided that if you want you can join our clan," she said.
"I don't have anywhere else to go and I like it here so I'll stay," I said.
