"Ok.Come with me to the rock," said Lavastar. I nodded and fallowed her as she went to a high rock. Then, she did a meow that must have meant something because a lot of different cats started to gather together. Gingerfur came and stood near me on the rock. (I guess she's the deputy.) I thought. Then, Lavastar started to speak.
"Everyone we have found a kit out in our territory and I've decided to let it join our clan," said Lavastar. The cats looked at me.
"Isn't that the scent of the New Moon Clan," said one cat.
"Yeah. You're letting in an enemy," said another.
"I know he may have been from an enemy territory. But he was chased out by his brother and other cats of his clan. Some of you may remember Leafsong. This is her son Tigerkit. Leafsong and Mudclaw died last week. That's when Dirtfur chased Tigerkit out with some other cats. When his sister protected him he escaped. Ever since then he was wandering around. So, I think you should treat him the same way you treat everyone else," said Lavastar. Then, she let everyone go back to what they were doing and took me to the nursery. I only had one week left till I move onto the apprentice area. In the nursery some of the queens and kits stared at me. That night I went to the edge of the cave to look at the sky. I sat down and then I noticed a black tortoiseshell kitten. She had green eyes. Then, she looked my way and walked over.
"So, your the new kit. Hi, I'm Honeykit," she said reaching out her paw.
"Hi, I'm Tigerkit," I said reaching out my paw and shaking hers. We smiled at each other and continued talking. Eventually we went to sleep. Honeykit went to her mom and I curled up in a corner because none of the queens were willing to take care of me. The next morning Honeykit and I played together. I knew Honeykit's mom was watching us carefully. We played chase and play fought. At the end of the night we talked and then fur went back to her mom. A month or two later a few other kits including Honeykit and I were apprentices. Honeykit and I were now Tigerpaw and Honeypaw. It we both ended up having the same mentor. Our mentor was Mistfur. She was a light blue she-cat with ice blue eyes. From then on we were training partners.
