(Looks kinda blurry since I edited the file, download for better view)Wanted to draw this adorable character I got from *xxDiamondDogxx , her name is Hannah, she's a Riiku (species by *xxDiamondDogxx ) and she's a messenger
(She looks like Vana because Riiku look like their masters usually
)I had to make a quick drawing before I went to bed.
Also... Today was shitty... I heard the person I love is going to move. Far away from here. Probably never gonna see her again, after the move, or maybe once, very quickly... Yes, there is Facebook and MSN, but in the end I'll have to let go anyway... It's not mutual anyway.
I was nearly in tears here, but fortunately I could talk with ~Moonlight553 , *xxDiamondDogxx and ~nooberslay , and I received some art works from commissions and art trades today, they were awesome, it really cheered me up... Hannah's design was one of them, but also

In the distance, a creature is running. It's still far away, but it's already visible from Luisa's house. It looks like the creature is going that way. In her mouth, she's holding a letter, and although she is still far away, a weird noise can be heard every time she steps. She's too far away for the ones in the house to hear what exactly it is, though.
Felt like doing it that way for the beginning x3

Meanwhile, in the house, someone lays in the couch. Bored, Luisa lets out a sigh. It is a hot summer day, and there is nothing to do. Leo rests in his bed, eyes closed but still awake. His ears twitch every now and then at the sound of Hannah running outside, but he shrugs it off, as similar noises reach his ears often.
Luisa raises her head at the sound of the steps, which eventually becomes clearer. "Do you hear that?", she asks her guardian, "Yes. Sounds like someone is coming."

Hannah came closer and closer, until she reached the door. She was panting and her legs felt tired, but she also felt happy and relieved, because she finally made it! She let out a sigh, hoping that Luisa and Leo were home. She knew that Leo would never leave Luisa as it was his task to protect her, something he took very serious. She took a few seconds to recover a little, then stepped forward and knocked on the door. "Hello?"

Leo's eyes shut open at the moment of hearing someone knoking the door. He stepped up quickly, his ears perked and fur bristling in alarm. "Calm down", luisa told him, "It's just the door." She walked to the door and slowly opened it, hearing a familiar voice. "Hey, Hannah!" Luisa said happily. "Come in, my house is your house!"

Hannah smiled at seeing the familiar faces again. "Hey!" she said as she dropped the letter. "Vana has written a letter about things that happened lately, and told me I could bring it to you!" With the letter on the floor, her neck was visible. She was wearing Vana's collar with a bell. Realising they could see it now, she blushed. "I know, I'm wearing Vana's collar, but even though I'm a messenger, I always get a tiny little bit homesick when I'm on my way, so I take something from my master with me to make it go away. Vana doesn't know, though" she added, playfully moving her tail.

Luisa gladly picked up the letter and took it to the table, leaving it there to check it later. "Thank you, Hannah. You are always so useful.", she said, "Vana should be happy to have you as her Riiku." Smiling, she looked down at her collar. Yep, it was Vana's, no doubt on it. "You shouldn't be ashamed, at least you can get away from Vana every time she needs you to." she stated, motioning a bit at Leo.
"You know I am your guardian and I am here to protect you. That is the only reason why I can't leave you alone." Leo said with a serious and prideful tone. "I know, Leo, I know." Luisa told him with a roll of her eyes.

Hannah smiled. "Yes... But it's logical, isn't it? If you die, Leo will die too. He's responsible for both his own life and yours, that's a serious task. I'm just here to bring letters and other stuff from one person to another." She now realised how tired her legs actually were. As soon as she stopped running her body always started to complain. "Mind if I lay down somewhere? I'm exhausted..."

"See? Someone uses comon sense her." Leo said with a snort. "Leo, we both know that I know that. I am just messing with you." she said, making Leo's head fur messy with a paw. He smiled up at her and chuckled, "You are ALWAYS messing with me." She smiled back and nodded, "Because I am evil like that." she said with a wink, and then turned to Hannah. "You are welcome to lay down wherever you please. The couch, my bed, Leo's bed, your own small bed, you choose."

Hannah nodded. "Oh yeah, Vana also said you guys need to come over soon, she's feeling lonely over there sometimes, I think. I'm there, of course, but still." She walked to her bed and streched her legs in the air, relaxing her body, tired but not sleepy.
She twitched her ears and yawned happily.

"We'd love to go anytime." Luisa said happily laying back on the couch and reading the letter. "Talk for yourself, you know long trips are... not my thing." Leo said with a sigh. "Either way, you have to follow me to make sure I don't kill myself over there", she replied with a chuckle. "True." he said and walked towards his bed, which was right beside Hannah's.
"Being a messenger must be much harder than being a guardian, no?"

In the letter, Vana just described the things that were happening and what weather it had been. Nothing really important had happened (except for the things with Niles and stuff like that, Vana still had a hard time getting over that :'D)
Hannah was silent for a moment, thinking. "I don't know. You have to be faithful and stay with your master all the time. Well... You don't have to, but most guardians do it anyway. You have to take care of two lifes. I just have to deliver stuff... Of course it's hard sometimes, and weather can be exhausting and even life-threathening at times. But still, my task isn't as important as yours. You have a huge responsability."

Luisa remained silent as she read through the letter, grabbing a piece of paper to grite her reply. She also got a good pencil and started to scribble in the paper, mumbling some barely audible words out loud.
"Well, if you see it like that, yes, my task is not the esiest. But Luisa never gets in potential danger, she gets scared easily..." He whispered, checking that Luisa hadn't realized, "Don't tell her that I told you that." he said with a smile, "So comparing between you and me your task is much harder than mine."

Hannah grinned. "Yeah, in that case, it is... But usually, I love running, even though it's tiring. Every time I run I feel a little less tired than I was before... I train daily, you see. Usually with Vana, she likes to run too. I'm faster than her though! Sometimes she can barely follow" She moved her tail, amused. "So what do you usually do all day long?"

"Yeah, running usually feels great..." Lo said with a smile, "And training is always good." He remained silent for a moment, thinking about what Hannah had asked. "Well, my days consist on following Luisa around. We sometimes go on little trips in the forest, but if e hear unusual noises she gets scared and we come back home. We also like to draw. We are not very good at it, but we like it." he stated with a yawn.
"Some other days we are just lazy, like today. We play videogames, or sometimes she just fantazises. I wish I could read her mind, she seems very entertained staring at nothing and thinking."

Hannah smiles. "Yeah... Vana is usually silent too, just staring through the window, or drawing... Makes me really wonder what she thinks about. And sometimes she just looks sad at random moments. Usually, she feels better after we go running, fortunately.
We also like to draw, although I prefer running. And when she's drawing or staring and thinking I'm usually running again... I can't stay still! Except when I'm tired, like now..." She yawned again.

"Well, that is good. Since you are a messenger, being energetic is a very good thing." he sighed and turned to lay on his back, staring at the roof. "I really, really wonder what she could be thinking. She just has that expression everyone has when they... ya know, are in love with someone, so it makes me wonder who. Who is she thinking about."

"Maybe we should find out together!" She replied with sparkling eyes. "I'm sure we can figure out more if we think about it and watch her actions and stuff like that..." Her tail bounced on the floor. "I'm wondering about Vana too, she never tells me anything! But I'll find out... I'm good at discovering secrets... I think." She tilted her head, thinking about whether she was really good at it or not, but then she decided that she didn't know, so it could be possible, at least.
Yeah, it is xP don't know if I'll ever complete it anyway. We'll see :3

"Perhaps we should. But both of our masters are... a bit more complex than other peoples. Luisa would never tell. And more than that, she'd never tell a guy. She could tell a girl, but me... nope." he said with a yawn, still staring at the celling. "THough... I've seen the letter she sends to Vana at times and she talks of this guy who I don't know about."

"Yeah... They are complex indeed... I wish I knew what was going on, though. It's so hard not to know sometimes...
I never look at what Vana writes. It's the first thing a messenger learns: Letters are private. You can't just open them while you're on your way because you're curious. So yeah... I just don't do it. If I'd do that I'd know a lot more, but it's against what I learned."
She sighed. "Life is difficult."

"Yeah, well, Luisa is part of me, so I have all the right in the world to read her stuff." leo said with a chuckle, "Well, she doesn't know that I read her letters, and I never get the whole thing. SHe is overprotective with her stuff." He took a deep breth and turned to lay on her belly again. "Yes, life is not easy."

"I don't really feel like I have that right... It's probably not my business." she sighed. Then she yawned, feeling tiredness. "I'm feeling sleepy... I'm gonna sleep now, it's been a long day for me."
She turned around in her bed, trying to find a good sleeping pose. "Goodnight..." she yawned.

"Good night Hannah..." Leo said with a yawn of his own, and turned to Luisa's place to see she was asleep as well. He smiled and went to get a blanked to put it on her master. "And good night, sleepyhead" He whispered, walking dowards the window and jymping to sit on it's frame. He looked up at the stars and stared at them for a while.

Hannah mumbled something in her sleep as she started to dream one of the dreams that you forget right after you wake up. Then she fell into a deep sleep, not noticing anything around her anymore.
It was just some scribbly linearts, and they looked crappy to me :C

Leo let out another sigh and closed the window. It seemed hours had passed since he started staring at the sky, though they were only several minutes. He went to his bed and layd down, curling up into a ball, his tail covering his nose. His green eyes slowly closed, and he fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning Vana woke up because the sun's rays tickled her eyes. She opened her eyes, blinded by the sunlight, then slowly started to see where she was. She recognized the breathing furball as Leo and smiled, looking at how he curled himself up.
She slowly stepped out of her bed, stretching her muscles and warming them up. Today she was gonna have a long run and she wanted to be prepared.

Luisa was already awake, getting breakfast ready for Hannah. "Morning over there!" She said happily as she put some apples and donuts along with some milt in a little table. "Breakfast time! You gotta have energy for the long run of today. Oh, and I got some mail for Vana, I hope you don't mind taking this to her once you are done eating." she said as she put a mail near the door, so when Hannah left she would pick it up.

Hannah's eyes started to sparkle. "That looks delicious! And of course I'll take the mail with me! It's no problem at all." With a smile she started to eat. "Thank you for being so friendly", she smiled. It's great to have someone give you food for energy when you're about to travel!" She ate some more, enjoying the food.

Luisa smiled seeing how much Hannah enjoyed the food. "OH, it is nothing. After all, you traveled from far away to bring mail to us!" she replied cheerfully. "Be sure to take care on your way back, hm?"

Hannah smiled and stood up. "So, ehh... I guess I'm going, then?" She looked at the door and back at the room. "Thank you for your kindness, I realy enjoyed it here..."

"Yeah, I guess you better leave now it is still early. We will miss you here, Hannah. Say hello to Vana for us, could you?" Luisa said with a hint of sadness in her voice, she did really want Hannah to stay, but it was not an option. Leo went where the two girld were just at the right moment. "Morning, girls. So, you are leaving Hannah?"

Hannah nodded, feeling sad. Why did they have to live so far from each other? Then she saw Leo. "Hey... Yeah, I'm leaving... It's gonna be a long trip, I'm afraid" she sighed. Then she looked at the others again and forced a smile. "Take good care of Luisa, Leo," she said with a wink. Then she walked out and started running home again.

"I will." Leo said with a smile as she saw how his friend ran away. "I will." He repeated. Luisa sighed and stood there for a minute. Such a shame we live so far away from each others, hm?" "Yeah", Leo replied, "A real shame..."

Hannah ran home, her mind empty, not thinking about anything, just running. After a lot of time she finally reached home. Tired and exhausted she walked in, gave Vana the letter and fell asleep. Vana smiled and petted her sleeping faithful messenger, then opened the letter and started to read.

The letter didn't read anything important either, just about how sorry Luisa felt for Vana and how they should meet someday. It also read about how a good messager Hannah was, and also that Vana should give her some donuts as dessert because she deserved them.
And I guess that is the end?

Vana read the letter and wrote a response. When she was ready she yawned, feeling tired. Hannah was still sleeping, so she went to bed without making any noise.
