...Because the last reference sucked so bad.As you can see here, I have finally gotten my butt in gear and made Lateon a REAL updated ref. Because people keep asking me, "What picture do I use for a reference?"
So yeah.
I've changed a few things about how I draw him.
1: Probably the biggest and most noticeable change, his mouth. I no longer draw it anime-style. Where it's on the side of his face.

2: He now has shown teeth. Weird.
3: And a tongue. Also weird.
4: I'm using a bit more blue shading instead of the standard gray that I usually use.
But yeah, I'll probably think of something else really important to put here AFTER I post it.
So possible updates in the future.
Left as downloadable so people can actually USE it as a reference.

Wow this is a pretty cool reference. I like how you included so much detail. My references almost always turn into "*spaz*sketch-color". xD That's if they are lucky enough to even be made... >.>
But I digress. I also like how you "varied" him from the traditional Lati template. I see a lot of Lati OCs who are basically game Latis with a pallet swap. (if they are luck) It's nice to see one that has both an interesting design and history.

I don't think originality is most prevalent in OCs in general, let alone Lati OCs. xD I think most people just don't bother to make their character interesting or different, just because it's not a huge value to them.

Just a thought here, but if that GuideCrystal is 4 ft long, wouldn't that make Lateon around 12 ft?

Everything is nice and all, but the teeth look more like a shark's teeth would. They are too as well.
No offense. It can probable be fixed by adding a few more.

I KNOW D8 Latios was so nice. When my friend said "this movie is really sad" I was like, "I didn't cry at the first, so this will be nothing" BUT NOOOO, MY FAVOURITE POKEMON HAD TO DIE o_O
