...Because the last reference sucked so bad.As you can see here, I have finally gotten my butt in gear and made Lateon a REAL updated ref. Because people keep asking me, "What picture do I use for a reference?"
So yeah.
I've changed a few things about how I draw him.
1: Probably the biggest and most noticeable change, his mouth. I no longer draw it anime-style. Where it's on the side of his face.
lol
2: He now has shown teeth. Weird.
3: And a tongue. Also weird.
4: I'm using a bit more blue shading instead of the standard gray that I usually use.
But yeah, I'll probably think of something else really important to put here AFTER I post it.
So possible updates in the future.
Left as downloadable so people can actually USE it as a reference.

No, I just decided that a mouth on the FRONT of the face would be much more convenient than the side.
I mean, it makes it so much easier to eat, bite, etc.

Their Mouths Arn't On The Side Of Their Faces. Thats Just How They SMILE. Their MOUTHS Are Acutally Pretty Close To The Top Of Their Faces, And Are At The BOTTOM Of Their Head

To take time to scale all of this would have taken atleast 5 hours of my precious life lol. Thank you VERY much. My draft modle should be ready in a few months depending on my progression. Once again Thank you, and im sure you'll enjoy the modle when it comes out

This makes me think of a picture I drew recently. I drew my three main dragon characters as Eon Pokemon. Surprisingly, it came out okay considering that I usually suck at Pokemon.

The top- and front-view of Lateon's head looks a bit weird.
It's probably the eyes
You may want to find a way to fix that.
Also, I think the mouth looked better when you drew it anime-style.
And the bicep appears to be a bit too thick. Just my opinion.
And on that mini-bio on the side, you missed the last S in 'species'.

It probably looks weird due to the fact that Lati's eyes are on the sides of the head.
I think it looks fine myself.
I prefer a more realistic mouth myself. Sorry, but having a mouth on the side of your face just isn't practical.

Yeah, this one looks ALOT better than the previous ref sheet.
And that new mouth style is certainly interesting. Guess it does make sense to have the mouth at the front of the face and not the side in reality.
