Awww, I *loved* Snuffy when I was little... I used to pretend that he was under the dinner table, and would eat all my vegetables that I didn't want to eat XD ... how pathetic is that? I was such an unimaginative child that my imaginary friend was *someone else's imaginary friend* LOL!

I remember an interesting toy once that was made, about this small stuffed elephant that looked like a snuffleupagus, and it used its nose to suck up and eat dreams, though it wasn't the size of the one on sesame street.
haha..
cute scene.

Great creepy twist on what's supposed to be an innocent child thing. His eyes are so big and friendly but it's very "I'm watching you..." Very nice mood you set here.

That is scary as hell, man.
But, looking at your description, I'm assuming that's the point.
Awesome amount of detail.

Come to think of it, this reminds me more of Monsters, Inc., than anything else. I mean, look at Sulley, and tell me their fur is similar? Light, fluffy, flutters in the breeze? I'd think that's exactly where he would've gone once he grew up--to the Company, working with Mike and Sulley.
It helps that this is a cute bedroom, and that the girl looks amazingly like Boo....pink PJs, black hair, little teddy. I'm surprised nobody else caught the resemblance. Geeze, people. Who's forgotten their kids' movies?!
I love the colors and the wacky linework here. It makes the piece look very active, very dynamic. The stylization of everything works, and yes, Snuffley looks like a properly grown-up version of himself.

It kinda looks like Snuffy is almost apologetic for scarying the girl... at least thats what I get from his eyes.
*Man Im reading way to much into this*

It's you, man.
Really interesting piece. The way you did Snuffy was clever and evocative; crap for detailing and proportions but that's secondary to getting the mood across. The look on the little girl's face is what really tells me the piece is supposed to be scary, so excellent job there. (There's almost no way Snuffleupagus could scare me, he's got too many happy memories in my head.)

Most of the cast of Sesame Street are huge freaking monsters. But we love 'em anyway 'cuz they're cuddly.

What's your point? So are Hank McCoy, Ben Grimm, Grendel, the Frankenstein monster, etc. All gentle giants who wouldn't harm anyone of their own free will unless they had good cause.
