Description
Transparency and alpha layers - the MMD user's nightmare. This tutorial will hopefully explain how to handle transparent layers. If you want to use transparency, you have to use PNG/TGA/DDS textures. JPG and BMP don't support transparency.
Thanks to Mirin (~Chelsea-Cat ) for the bad example picture.

Thank you.
The 'precedence' thing is an especial head-scratcher as the 'simple' take on Alpha channels is they'll just 'play nice'. Well, they don't, and you've nailed it !!

See this Is one of those few and rare actually helpful MMD tutorials, instead of just a redundant tutorial done 100 times over.
So not only will I thank you for this tutorial for being so useful but that you actually put it up
