i trying to catch that efekt with gimp and I have two questions:
did You use the violet and orange in high saturation or not?
and if i see clearly you've added some tech brushes here?

very pleased with outcome- it's in my gallery.
the black and white thing wasn't really working for my render so i ended up messing with color balance and making it reddish-yellow. not sure if that ruined it or not, i like it though.

I like the adjustment layers you used, also this was the first time for me to desaturize and extrude lol. Pretty fun, though the render I took was pretty bright and colorful, didnt actually think we'd desaturize it this much
