Really awesome character design; almost reminds me of Dynasty Warriors or something similar to the sort. The pose is really fitting, and I love the bright colors used (you're really awesome with that, hehe! ^_^)

I think one thing that would've helped, especially in this picture would've been a blue, fog laden background. That way it looks like he would've cut through the mist with the staff.
Great detail as always though, I just think that his left foot is a bit too hidden even for a stance like that, we should've seen a bit more of his toes.

I think the gold comes across more as a firey flamey bronze on my PC here but the effect overall is great. Such brightly colored details that jump out at you all at once.
