Absolutely crazy, and gotta love the symbolism you have between the works. That always helps.
Her design reminds me of some sort of insect. If their queen looked like that, they must be some lucky bastards.

Although this peice (sp?) is wonderfully detailed as I have come to expect from your magical hands, this seems somehow incomplete. The background seems to detract from her rather than support her, and her wings almost seem to be made from stone, so she would rather fall than fly.
Just my feelings.

Good work on this one! The pose makes up for the static nature of the subject. I noticed the "good" version seems to have a much more girlish figure, while this one is more voluptous and womanly. Nice concept, subtle yet useful. Ooh, I like the tail too. And finally, BOOBIES!
