Beautiful. The design in the background is what really caught my eye, I spent several minutes staring at it trying to figure out how you did it so perfectly. I think I decided how you did it, but the design itself and all its intricacies were well done.
The figure, though rather dwarfed by the background, is equally inpressive. Their dejected pose evokes pity even though they look threatening.

Fascinating... The style remeinds me very much of Kingdom Hearts. Supplant the disney aspect with truly monstrous imagination and you get... this, I suppose. Very nice... What kind of creature is this exactly, and what kind of prision is it the keeper of? Is this part of a specific storyline, or simply a product of random imagination?
Anyhow, very skillfully done. Keep up the good work!

I think my only complaint is that the background -as pretty as it is, makes the the keys on his back hard to see. (they clash slightly) I really like his pose and the way his hair falls on his face though. And those wings, are beautiful (though if he's bound to his duty I gather he can't make use of them and fly off somewhere, where he'd rather be - it makes me wish he would though)
