I don't like this piece at all. Theres too much going in the picture. Basically too much 'rough' detail which results in the image looking...well flat. Anyone can add detail...just takes time...but real artistic talent comes in knowing when to stop, to capture the moment, the figure with minimal, accurate brush strokes. Mind you im not saying detail is bad, but the detail should still conform and harmonize with the object/figure being portrayed. In this image, there is no definate source of lighting and the overall effect is a cluttered claustrophobic image.

Now that's an angel you don't see every day. He's much more buff (or uber, haha) than your usual characters, but be damned if he's not as impressive. I love the sweep of his wings behind him, they seem to be just as ponderously heavy as he is.
Great job on the detail, again. The crosses incorporated into all parts of his outfit are very nice.
