stress relief, kinda sucks for this to be my first personal piece of the year, but ah well, such is life
tommorrow is another day and just need to work it out to be better.

I like the visual and emotional strength that the bold red applies to the entire piece. The red itself seems like the pain/suffering itself, so sharp and hard to ignore. Especially the tears falling from it's eyes, that bring further emotion to this work. And the writing on the scythe makes me wonder what the story of the "Reaper" may be.
The looser strokes on the wings and on his reverse joint knees look very wispy, like flowing darkness and are very well suited to the overall style of this picture.
The "sphere" floating above their shoulder is almost like a heart or soul, once again red in pain/suffering, but it's worn on their shoulder like the saying "wearing my heart on my sleeve for all to see"
