Flat color commission. This was a gift, for both people in it. From both people in it.
The dog got the lion some art credit as a gift.
Lion wanted to surprise the dog by using the credit to get something that also included them.
Dog, not knowing what the commission was, wanted to surprise the lion by paying to have it upgrade from sketch to flat color.
