Socializing takes a lot of energy from me. Energy that I don't have a lot of. Energy which is drained massively from being a floor manager in a warehouse and being called upon in all directions non-stop for most of the day.

Its been estimated that the average person can only truly handle around 250 people total for semi regular interaction. That doesn’t mean 250 friends, 250 people. Think of it like a village. You have a group of friends but you also have workers you work with, family, family friends, etc. the internet forces us into sometimes interacting with numbers far exceeding that amount, so its to be expected that you would burn out. Just understand that it isn’t something wrong with you or that you can’t handle it because you aren’t social enough... its just a fact that we can only take so much.
And trust me when I say, popping in after being gone only makes people happy to see you again, don’t feel guilty about visiting.
