We wanted to give you an opportunity to show us what your journey has been in the realm of art, but also on DeviantArt. Your Artistic Journey
Whether you've been creating art for 3 months or 15 years, you've got a story to tell. You've gone through a journey, an evolution, you've learned a lot, you've become a better artist, you've made mistakes, you've dealt with frustrations. Not everything was easy, not everything was hard. You started out as one person and you might be someone entirely different right now. Your personal life affected your artistic life, and vice versa. This is what this contest wants to hit right into. We want you to reflect on your time as an artist

This work represents my own personal artistic journey in DA..

Through this I want to convey how I started and struggled in my beginning. The girl is just like me who is aiming for the sky because she is so sure that her hard work and efforts will make her reach the top and will shine bright as a star.
Before joining DA, I consider art an art but now my definition of art has changed..it is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness, which cannot be described but expressed through our inner soul in form of art. It enables us to find ourselves and lost ourselves at the same time.

And I firmly believe that not all dreams are black and white, you can paint them in whatever way you imagined or dreamt of.

With sheer dedication one can realize their dream, failure is just a part of our journey which teaches us to never take side off your destination and follow your heart.

Never give up and always believe in yourself..!!!

MY ARTISTIC JOURNEY ON DA

"I didn't want to be an artist"
I was a born artist with hardly an interest in arts. I was more an outdoor person who was inclined towards history and photography, you would have found me dabbling in long gone wars, the birth of Empire and their deaths. But art? Oh no, it was for someone who had melancholy souls. I lived a life believing that to be a successful person one had to excel at anything but art. How wrong did life prove me. A small tryst with art happened in Grade 5. My sketches/drawings were a big hit but still the enigmatic world of art didn't ensnare another artist. Big compliments and I rested on my laurels. Period.
Life took it's long course and not even once did I think to tapping this hidden talent. Though I must say that even for an adventurous soul like mine, I was impressed with the work of Leonardo da vinci,, his Monalisa continues to amaze me and her mysterious smile, in my opinion , gives her everlasting charm.
