It has been decided that the best way for ‘Nog to have the best future possible, his training should be mostly restarted. Old ways and too many years offering lessons to beginners has led him to become unmotivated and fairly unresponsive. Under Mia’s guidance with imput from Louk, Nat is taking him through each stage of training right from the beginning, using new and different techniques to allow them to form the best partnership.
Here, she is not training, but grooming the sleepy gelding (with some tasty snacks, of course) to help establish an emotional bond and a strong trusting relationship before proceeding with the more difficult work.
