I've always wanted to share one of these. After putting it together, I realize my style isn't very exciting. lol

A few things.
-I paint with a mouse. And it's very messy. I cleaned up between a lot of the steps to make it less confusing.
-What happens between steps three and four is really just a lot of repetition. Add shadows and highlights, blend, repeat. The smudge brush I use was created from a tutorial I found here on DeviantArt. It's designed to mimic the watercolor brush in SAI.
-The hard shadows and highlights are the only thing I don't blend. But I do adjust the opacity to soften them.
-Coloring the line art in the most tedious step. By holding control and clicking the line art layer, you can select just the lines.
-What happens between steps 5 and 6 is a bit of a mystery! lol I use the burn tool to darken the lines where appropriate and also deepen the shadows. I also add a glowy effect using a Gaussian blur in overlay mode.
