Description
I've been messing around with making fire on CS2 at school and I found this is the best way to make it. Doesn't mean that you have to do exactly what this says because art is not step by step instruction, it's expression. This is the tools and stuff I use for it though. XDDDHave fun! And if you have any questions or suggestions on this please note me or ask me in a comment.

Awww. You are welcome. It's just a mastery of the smudge tool. Try doing a smoother curves that are different sizes and like making it fast at the end to have a small tip. If you have a higher grade of photoshop, the less there will be random colors in there too. ^_^

Yw. Hm... I never tried the liquify. I'm not too experimental on filtering lately, because everytime I try to do it.. my computer pop-ups that This program has done an illegal operation" jazz. I will add that to the description though. I'm glad this helped. ^_^

This is hot. Really nice way of gradually building up to the final fiery effect, and the way you smudge it into little tongues of fire is uberly amazing...Great tutorial!!

lucky. at my school, not only does the fact stand that they use macs, but they only let you do school work! i cant even check my own email! i have to use the schools email to email things to myself! they dont let you install things that help them either, let alone something that helps students!
