Description his little baby robin flew out of his nest but didn't get very far. My mom moved him but he made a messy flight out of her hands and into the pool. We rescued him, I fed him a spider, and mommy robin was watching us the whole time. He flew off later with his mother.

Where I used to live, the robins all picked one parent to live with and then hung near them after leaving the nest, they'd practice flying- often in the middle of the street- and if they survived it looked like their parents were teaching them how to catch worms. They baby would beg for food, them mama would go catch a worm and feed it to them and they would watch.
If the baby was begging YOU for food, that is so wonderfully remarkable, and then it made for an awesome photo opportunity. Where did you get a spider to feed it?

It's heartwarming how demanding and trusting baby birds are of anyone and anything that comes near them. ^^

That's cute! What is it with baby birds and asking for food from just about any one? X3
