Description
At the Joslyn Art Museum there was the 2nd annual Draw-a-thon. I saw it advertised at a local art store, so I convinced my brother and roommate to come along. Later a buddy of mine showed up too. The idea was that young artists would be grouped by old masterpieces and separately taught by one of five successful local artists. After a 30 min session each group was led to the main lobby where everyone did a massive collaboration piece with an Alice in Wonderland theme. This particular paper sculpture was made in 30 minutes. The name is an inside joke, basically. I really hope it happens again next year, since I didn't get to see all of it.
