An alternate version of The Caribbean, I Think...

In both versions the lighting, I think, looks great and it should because its Vince Bagna's Sunlight for DS against Raiya's Felicity skin. Felicity and Elene (also by Raiya) are my new go-to textures for Layla. The settings for both are good and I love that these are the actual renders right out of DS itself - no postwork needed except for adding my signature. But they're kinda empty aren't they? Even with a couple characters added to the newer image the background still feels empty. That's mostly a failing of my computer. Its old and can't be pushed as far as I'd like to. Two or three figures in one scene seems to be my limit.

The only solution I can think of for now, other than getting a new computer, is compositing. I have an older version of Photoshop and, of course, GIMP so, I'll have to learn how and try it when I have the time.
