Their mad an insatiable hunger that pressed their attacks upon him.
Pressed them forced them over and throughΒ one other. Hard, and with great and insistent violence theyΒ pressed, pushed, and clawed.
But not to get at him.

She drew them out, drew them out like a moth to a flame.Β
They had robbed her of her wings, and now they, mindless beasts, they the mockery of mortal mans dear form, sought to claim her life...

That art is really good.
I look at it, and I see ex angel, thrown in to hell.
I see black knight, who end up in hell for wrong doing in his life. And who is trying to save angel. He decided to do one good thing just once.
I see angle that refused to obey gods order. And she was punished for it.
I wonder what could that order be.
I see horde of damn souls, witch hate angel, just because she use to live in heaven. Souls witch forgot why they are where they are.
And I could be totaly wrong with my interpretation. And that's what's good about that art. It can be interpretated in may different ways.
