We've had a few crazy letters, but Eeta is a H. It's like a Coptic H. In fact, if you look closely, it even looks a bit like H. That's because H was actually derived from Ⲏ thousands of years ago! At the time, Eeta looked more like a capital H. Over time, the letter became H and made its way to the very end of the Roman alphabet that we use today.

Now of course we could take the easy route and just remember Ⲏ as a "H". But that wouldn't be any fun. So let's see, what words start with Ee... Eat? Treat? Seat? No, doesn't look like any of those. How about... A see!!
