We've all heard of rabid bronies-those who force MLP on other people, throw fits when people say they don't like it, fav mostly pony porn, get worked up if pony humanizations aren't white, etc.
But there are also rabid anti-bronies as well; those who think all people who watch MLP are crazy, lonely, middle-aged perverted furries, moan about how ponies have 'taken over' the Internet, whine when their favorite characters are ponified, drawing ponies being horrendously killed, portraying the characters as sluts, bitches, psychopaths, etc.
Well, I say these people are no better than the people they oppose.
First, how many of these rabid anti-bronies have actually been attacked by a rabid brony? Or even seen one? I've been in this fandom for a while and I have yet to see one personally.

Second, how many of these rabid anti-bronies have actually watched the show? The number-one reason this fanbase is so large is because it's a good show. If it wasn't, would so many people be gushing about it?

Third, these rabid anti-bronies act like no other fandom has insane fans except for MLP. What about Pokemon? Sonic? Naruto? I dare you to find a fandom with no insane fans at all.

Fourth, rabid anti-bronies act like they've never seen a new fad before. If something's new and popular, of course it's going to be everywhere, including the Internet.

Fifth, why do rabid anti-bronies whine about characters being ponified? Characters are drawn in different styles all the time, what makes making them ponies such a crime?

Now, I'm not saying all people who don't like MLP are out to get bronies, nor am I denying the existence of rabid bronies. I am simply standing by the statement of Lauren Faust that the rabid bronies make up only a minority of the fanbase and the majority of it are good people who enjoy a show about friendship with a lovable and memorable cast. We are willing to love and tolerate if we are loved and tolerated as well.
