The voice droned on and on. Fifty-Six tried their best to pay attention, but Mother's voice kept drifting in and out of focus. They wanted to learn. They wanted to learn so bad!
The classroom continued to phase and warp in a way that just provoked further inattentiveness. Perhaps, eventually, Fifty-Six will learn how to adapt and really put their love for learning to use.

Distantly, faintly, there is a voice that is different, younger, and belies an intention that this other voice has been viewing Fifty-Six for awhile. "Hey! I got those wings too!"
