Saw this going around and I'm with it, I switched to Eclipse today to give it a try and I just...it's an absolute mess. It looks like an uncompleted site and takes away and uniqueness to anyone's pages and disrupts the flow in which I want to present myself, my commission and site information, notifications and my art. My core subscription, which I was always fine with paying for since it have features that I love in order to make my page appealing, will not be renewed as there really is no point in giving the company any money when the features I wanted are no longer included.

I will be joining the protest of the update and will not be on the site from May 1st-4th. I have set up an art Instagram as backup just in case and like many of you have been looking into other alternative sites and will keep you updated, but for now if you would like continue to follow me on Instagram and can get into contact with me during those days: www.instagram.com/xdarkhikarix…

I won't be leaving the site but who knows how activity level will be but I have so much stuff here and have invested too much to leave it behind so after those days I will still be on to check messages and hopefully maybe even adapt.

I really hope that the developers listen to their audience for once, Deviantart has been the one place I really considered part of myself in a community and made so many friends on and it'd be a real shame to start over somewhere else and trying to reconnect with all of those I have become close to and are inspired from.
