this was done for a friend, the kind that does a little extra to make you feel special. :]this character was my choice. Riley -an original character, i've drawn a couple times before.

yeah, i wanted to do that in the beginning, i felt i was cheating coloring in mono for 95% of the piece.

Very nice work! I love the sharp contrasts going on with your shadows and highlights. It also makes your textures jump out. You created a great character to work on. It sorta looks like you used some overlay to tone down your composition a tad and creates a darker mood, a nice touch. Your friend is very lucky for sure.
