Description
Like all artists, I have strengths and weaknesses. Like many artists one of the areas I’ve chronically experienced challenge is in drawing/painting hands. In order to address this weakness I decided to invest in a hand study over a few sessions of research to learn more about how elements of hands come together.
While browsing Facebook one day I was fortunate to come across Renata’s photograph of her hand. She engages in a variety of photographic work and it had a good balance of lighting and composition to be informative about many elements of the hand. I got the opportunity to study this photo for a few sessions in order to do my best at learning more of how hands work.
