EDIT: WOO, this is my 600th deviation!

My internet has been SO BAD lately, hopefully this uploads this time!

This is a bit old at this point but I wanted to get it submitted anyway. I got lazy with the background and didn’t want to add trees or bushes so I didn’t. I’m sorry I’m so bad at comics, guys ;A; I’m trying to get better!

Alpha Tilikum left Tonrar’s territory with his son Cain (laying on starter Nanook 01 here: www.deviantart.com/xfrostfall/… ) when the first toko fell ill. Tilikum often left the territory on official business, so Nalani wasn’t too bothered… until Raigho’s daughter started to get very sick. She was quarantined but it was too late— slowly the entire pack fell to the illness.

Tilikum and Cain were not unscathed. The illness took them both as well— or so Tilikum thought. Like his sister, their best hunter, and that rogue his sister keeps around, Tilikum found himself strangely… alive. Different. He had no idea how much time had passed since he left home, or what afterlife he had been sent to.

Worn and heartbroken over the loss of his son he returned to his homeland, hoping no one else had been taken.

He was wrong, though, and now all he wanted to do was sleep.
