I love it; it has a very haunted atmosphere...very eerie. The sun hidden by the clouds, shining brightly though, and the reflection of the leaveless trees.

Late fall and early spring are always a bad time for nature photography, in my opinion. There's not much color, everything's awfully bare, and there's no snow to cover it up. This shot does a great job of working with those challenges to produce something interesting and atmospheric (if perhaps a little cluttered).

Black and white was an awesome choice. There's so much to look at in this picture, but it's not overwhelming. The details are intereseting too, how the spindly trees are reminiscent of the hay and how the break in the clouds mirrors the shape of the water. I aboslutely love it!! Excellent, excellent.

Amazing work, as always. Great tonality you've got going. The sky and ground work really well; you've got your soft curves up high and your really sharp lines at the bottom. It's wonderful and kind of creepy. There's a sense of isolation from the rest of the world.
