I love the colors of this picture. A little nostalgic, but very charming.
I love how the light goes into the sand and how the waves take a special place in your picture. (The sky is obviously gorgeous too ^^).

Some of the best lighting in a picture I've seen in a very long time. Excellently done.

You completely over edit your photos... Each and every shot in your gallery is sharp and low-quality due to too much contrast and colour tampering, it's a shame.

well if he'd uploaded a high quality picture, instead of buying his prints people would do home made prints;
I think it's better this way. Afterall photoshop is for photo edit, there's nothing wrong with it, they look awesome at least in my opinion :F

Get out of his arsehole you fucking dick, like I care what you think about someone else's art.
Photoshop can be used as a photo editing program, yes, and it's very good at doing that job if it's used properly rather than cranking up contrast to a fucking million and one, then applying far too many photo filters.
I guarantee you it's not just a low quality upload, the image has been way over edited which has produced the random sharp pixels and the bright red halos on everything.
Seriously though, what even made you reply to my comment? Do you want this guy to suck your cock? Do you want recognition? Are you trying to prove yourself? Is this initiation into some sort of cult? I have no idea at all what made you think that trying to make up excuses for someone else's work will benefit you in any way at all.

i'll leave the matter of your culture and maturity to you, it's your problem , not mine.
secondly if i do not agree with any opinion i have right to share mine. It's a public place, if you havent noticed yet. Since he is a pro, he surely knows about low resolution saving way to avoid strealing. Belive me there IS something like that in photoshop.
finnaly criticise can anyone, it's the simpliest thing related to the art to do. Try to be at least 1/10 as good as he is, good luck with that cuz you'll need it.

What does 'my culture' have to do with anything? You don't even know me or my culture so stop trying to make petty stabs.
If you don't agree with an opinion that has no bearing on you whatsoever, then you leave it alone. You don't be a busybody and try to contradict someone else's opinion.
I understand that you are able to save images at a lower quality in Photoshop, but the image you see above has not been compressed to a state that the quality is affected much, if at all. The method of compression for .jpgs used in Photoshop softens and blurs, rather than sharpens, images, and it also does not account for the over-the-top colour and contrast editing.
What is my [lack of] skill relevant to? For example, I'm sure you're not a German history expert but you'd still say the NSDAP were a bad political party, right? Right. And the same applies to if you saw a horrible piece of architecture, I'm sure you wouldn't say "I couldn't build or design that so I shouldn't say anything bad about it,".

i just told you that imo he knows what he does and you started all that "sucking dicks" buissness. that wasnt really polite, i understand if i have attacked you and told you "omg you dumbass you know nothing go die" but i didnt. your answer was kinda overreacted;
i am aware of filters pwning image quality, but if you have a fine camera even filters wont destroy it. i've worked once on canon D350, used a lot of filters on it including gaussian blurs, sharpening and color balance changes, and everything was ok untill i saved it in jpg which always will save image in worse quality, but png was fine. So like i said- someone with his experience doesnt look to me like a photoshop n00b and he did that to avoid stealing. Some people are rude enough to take your graphics and sell them on ebay these days :/
Well fine with the last one i was the one who overreacted a bitt this time but u upset me. I'm not the type who walks around and tell people to stfu cuz they suck or whateva and yeah not everyone must be a picasso to tell other ppl what they do wrong. I just hate when people instead of normal conversation goes into insult/agressive mode. I'm not used to it so yeah, maybe that's why.
K lets end this cuz i have enough english for today :F

Well, shooting with both my sister's 400D, my friend's 350D and his new D200, all 3 cameras images are affected by using adjustment layers quite drastically, if overdone. It's not even worth debating any more because the defects in this guy's image are not caused by compression, they are caused by extreme over editing. I'd make you a bunch of examples but I'm busy at the moment.

How did you manage such clayish colours? Was it digitally edited? or was it some clever aperture and shutter speed trickstery!
