Hello?......Mario!?If you don't know it's from Luigi's mansion for the game cube.
Luigi just won his very own mansion, from a contest that i'm fairly certain he never entered in o.O? Anyways Luigi has just set foot in his very own mansion, where he was suppose to meet up with Mario, but where is he? Sounds like another adventure to me! I'm just going to say I loved this game
Ok, i'm srry for making everyone go done memory lane lol. Anyways I tried to draw it with a dark atmosphere as well as allow you to see some of the details. Which was fairly difficult to do. I gave a lighter tone to the left side of the picture compared to the right side. Man this took so long -_- i fell asleep several times. I tried experimenting with layer effects i hope this turned out ok.
Amazingly the game makes it look pretty lit so you can see everything (considering the only light source is Luigi's flashlight).

Basic Plot line is Mario and Sonic switch places and face challenges in each others universe but in their own unique way, which causes a lot of unique problems.

Oh, boy. So it's going to be like that Ghost Knight fight from Legend of Dragoon. Misunderstandings do add on a bit of a twist, but don't overdo it. People will get sick of it, I can tell you that right now. Not that I can see the future, but I do know how some people think. You know how things can get overdone, right?

well i kind of planned that both Mario and Sonic lose their memory so it was possible to make a gradually increasing character as far as abilities go (like Sonic doesn't know he's super fast) and also it allows them to influenced by other ppl

Other than being emo, over-rated (atleast by my opinion) being created by both Black Doom and Dr. Gerald Robotnik, being the byproduct of a giant lizard on life-support, and having chaos powers even without an emerald, that's pretty much what I've got. I did like how he was portraid in the Sonic Universe comics. He wasn't as emo, he was more of a noble guardian like character. In the first issue, he teams up with Blaze and Marine to defend Blaze's kingdom from Metal Sonic who is out to tear up the place to free Dr. Eggman. Shadow eventually tries to convince Metal Sonic to abandon Dr. Eggman and become a good guy. Here is how it goes.
Shadow: Metal! You don't have to obey Eggman anymore! You don't have to go through the troubles that I went through. You can join us and we can defend the world as a team!
Metal Sonic: REPLYING..... YOUR PRIMARY FUNCTION IS TO PROTECT MOBIUS AND IT'S INHABITANTS. CORRECT?
Shadow: Uh... I suppose, yes.
Metal Sonic: MY FUNCTION IS TO PROTECT AND SERVE DR. EGGMAN. I CANNOT COMPLY WITH YOUR REQUEST!
Or atleast that's how I remember it. It's been awhile since I read it. Well, atleast Shadow tried.

alright i think i can work something into this, Shadow can have his memories but he'll be more aloof to the other characters. Shadow only gets involved when it is directly tied to him. I also have an idea on how to balance a fight between Shadow and Mario (in all serious i don't think Mario has a chance in that one). Anyways I need a main villain from the Sonic Universe.... I'm thinking Metal Sonic or maybe something else....maybe Shadow.... idk

Not entirely, well.... Silver is. Blaze is from the same timeline, just from a different dimension. One travelled through space, the other through time.
