Description
This was such a pain to do, but so much fun. They take for ever, but I love drawing big groups.Here we have (on top L to R) Tweek, Token, Craig, Wendy, Stan, Bebe, Kyle, Clyde, Cartman, and (on bottom L to R) Butters, Red, Pip, Kevin, and Kenny. I wanted to fit in more of the kids, but I kinda ran out of room.

The simple activity of them all playing go fish is great but it's the moments where they are being individual in this that makes it awesome like Cartman about to pour his juice on Kyle, or Tweek spazzing about the gnome... awesome!

Are these pencils drawings? If so, how did you colour it digitally without going over the lines?

Yup. Everything I post has pencil lineart. To color, I pick the area I wanna color, for example the blue of Stan's hat, and on a new layer, color that one specific spot in a solid flat color making sure to stay inside the lines. I do that for every thing in the picture. Then when I go back to shade, I turn on Preserve Transparency so I can only change the small area colored on each layer. Then for textures, I go through and duplicate each layer I want to have a texture, and with the transparency thing still checked, I texturize.
It's a long process that is probably way harder than it needs to be. For exapmle, this picture has well over 3oo layers easily. That's psychotic lol. Oh, and I do all this on Corel Painter X.

I love how so much is happening in this picture! Tweek's cowering behind Craig, Cartman's about to spill something on Kyle, Clyde looks angry at Cartman for what he's planning to do to Kyle, Kenny's looking at a porno magazine, and of course, Craig and Stan are playing Go Fish! By the way, I think Craig's winning!
