'Cause I needed to let out some anger...I had this picture on mind for a while. I'm quite happy with Raph himself, the colours and the light , but not really glad with background, even if I can deal with that, and the rain. If anyone know a good tutorial about rain, that would be great ^^"
It's the second drawing with a night-atmosphere I'm working on, and the following will be a night picture too, even I didn't plan that ! Not the same night-light, BTW.
Hope you'll like it, this one is special for me. Not just a fanart. Y'know... Something I needed.

He ignored the rain as it ran down his face, his shell, soaking him. Never one to sit still while he could be doing something, Raphael leapt across the rooftops, just as he and his brothers had done a billion times before.
He sped up. Brothers. Heh, that was a good one. What brothers? Their little family was nonexistent. I mean, why deny it? It was the truth, and Truth was cold, cruel, and heartless.
Truth decided they were done. Truth separated them.
Truth said Leo wasnβt coming.
So why should he bother hoping? Easy: he didnβt. Raph saw it in Mikeyβs eyes, Donβs movement, saw that they had given up, too. Leonardo had abandoned them.
Raph slowed to a halt, feeling the fire return. That was right, Leo had left his family in the dust. And for what? Training. What was he training for? To be better? No, he was already the best. He was freaking perfect. To protect his family? He almost laughed out loud at that. If that were true, why wasnβt he here, when they needed him?
Raph paused, hating himself. He had just admitted that they needed Leo. Admitted HE needed Leo.
He ripped one of his sai from his belt and rammed it into the nearest wall. βLeo!β he yelled into the starless night. βFor your sake, I hope you DONβT come back!!β His enraged cry echoed through the streets below him for a moment before fading into nothing. The rain, cool and calming, continued to drench him, slowly taking the fight out of him.
Raphael sighed, keeping a grip on the sai impaling the brick before him. He knew that wasnβt true. Truth, once again gnawing at him like a persistent itch under his shell, told him that he wanted their leader back.
His emotions back to something that resembled stable, he gently eased his weapon out of the building and raised his head to the sky. Hot-headed. Rash. Impatient. He was all of these things. It was just his nature. But Leoβ¦he was calm. Centered. Focused. A natural born leader of the team that had been lost. Without him, they had fallen apart.
Raph knew he could never fill his older brotherβs place as leader. None of them could.
For a moment, amongst the rain, sirens, and splash of cars in the street, Raph could almost hear Leoβs voice. 'Iβll be back. I promise.'
βCome on, bro. It donβt feel like home without ya.β
The wail of police sirens was getting dangerously close, now. He couldnβt stay any longer. With a final glance at the sky, as though hoping to see a sign in the clouds, Raphael turned and dashed back across the buildings.
For now, he was on his own.

Oh, that's absolutely gorgeous. The colors, the rain, the light, the drawing of the figure himself... perfect. I love it. It sparks real feelings very deep and says so much about Raph in one gesture, one look.

I show more easily my drawing than my writing, tought I achieved to put more thing in my drawing. I don't know how to talk... So I need to draw or write and show.
