I wanted to make a more updated ref for the vampire wolfdog version of my fursona, but didn't exactly have time to redo everything, so I was lazy and just tweaked some of the old art from previous character sheets. The gryphon design is simply an alternate form, and either design is valid. Which form I use really just depends on how I'm feeling that day.

Character Profile

Name: Vex
Species: Vampire wolfdog (half gray wolf x half Siberian husky). Can shift freely between his normal form and vampire form.
Gender: Male
Age: Immortal/indeterminate
Height: 27 inches at the shoulder
Build: Average build for a gray wolf
Distinct Features: Overhanging hair tuft (NOT optional), large paws, and build which is identical to a pure-blooded gray wolf. Without his colors he should just look like a wolf that's a bit smaller than average. In his vampire form he has long fangs which poke out from under his lips, red eyes, and long, sharp claws which he can use to fight (similar to a cat). He also has a large, hooked dewclaw in this form, which helps him grip onto prey while hunting.
Sounds: Able to make all the traditional sounds attributed to wolves, including growls, snarls, whimpers, and howls. He doesn’t bark, but does occasionally make the ‘woo-woo’ noise that huskies do. As a vampire, he is also able to make hissing and snarling noises like a cat.
Abilities: Can shift freely from his ‘normal’ form to his vampire form at any time. As a vampire, he has heightened senses, and great strength and speed. Able to use his sharp claws to swipe and grab prey, using techniques similar to a cat’s. His greatest weapons are by far his long, sharp canine teeth.
Weaknesses: Won’t turn to dust in the sun, but exposure to direct sunlight will burn his skin and prolonged exposure could eventually lead to death. He often keeps this under control by obsessively applying sunscreen. Bright light hurts his sensitive eyes, so he may be seen wearing sunglasses. Not harmed by garlic or crucifixes, as legends would have you believe, though any overly strong smell is likely to detour him or at least give him a massive headache. This includes potpourri, air freshener, and body spray. Could be killed by a stake to the heart, but his greatest weakness is by far taking away his phone.

Positive Traits: Intelligent, kind, passionate, empathetic, open-minded, loyal, adaptable, observant, determined, honest, funny, and level-headed.
Negative Traits: Self-conscious, insecure, worrisome, hypersensitive to criticism, can be easily frustrated, prone to catastrophic thinking, pessimistic, private, socially anxious, and cares too much what other people think.
Likes: Animals, drawing, writing, photography, collecting, Halloween, horror movies, horror content, animal fantasy, cryptids, abandoned buildings, vulture culture, recycling, travel, live theater, forests, mountains, and cool weather.
Dislikes: Bullies, inconsideration, bigotry, arrogance, entitlement, deforestation, animal cruelty, waste, littering, needles, hot and/or humid weather, tight crowds, amusement park rides, screaming children, cockroaches, and open water.
