Olive's Backstory:
Olive and her best friend Maple were wandering through the woods. They reached a conopy and decided to stop and rest for a bit. Maple's tail brushed a sundew, and the plant quickly lached on to the Leafwings tail. Maple started to panic, as she didn't have any Leafspeak nor was there any dragons who had it around. Olive, terrified for her friend, started to talk to the sundew out of instinct. Olive told the plant to let go and when it refused Olive made the sundew wilt and die. Maple, surprised, spun around to Olive and questioned her on what just happened. Olive was in awe as well, it had felt so natural to talk to the sundew, she didn't even know she could talk to it. Suddenly a wave of pain hit Olive's head all the plants in the canopy were talking to her. The cypress trees complaining about the mushrooms growing at their roots, the dragon-trap plants boasting about their meals, and many tiny seeds in the ground calling for help. Olive collapsed, many weeds shriveling beside her. Maple ran to Olive and instantly started to help her. Maple grabbed a nearby numbing butterfly, and quickly crushed it's wings into dust, this type butterfly was used for sick dragons with headaches, Maple poured the dust into Olive's mouth and Olive's mind started to clear. All the plants hushed and Olive sat up. "OLIVE AND MAPLE!!!" a dragon roared loud enough to shake the trees. "Olive are you ok?" Maple asked in a concerned voice "I think Cowbane wants us, but if you need to stay here I can go tell her to eat a Tsetse fly." Olive felt alright but she was still shaken up about it all. "I just don't know how the tribe will react" Olive admitted. "Well I can keep your leafspeak powers a secret." Maple offered. Olive agreed to this plan but what Olive didn't know was that Maple sleep talks

"OLIVE" Screeched Cowbane so loud that Olive was willing to bet that the village would be out of birds for a whole week. Cowbane flew faster that she ever had before over to Olive's nest. Olive overheard two trees screeching at each other about Cowbane My leafspeak that's what Cowbane knows! But didn't Maple keep that a secret? "OLIVE" Cowbane barked "HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD LEAFSPEEK?!" Olive stared blankly into Cowbane's furious expression. Just play dumb "What?" she said, then mumbled "I wish I had leafspeak." "DON'T LIE!" Cowbane shouted even louder that before "MAPLE WAS TALKING ABOUT YOUR LEAFSPEAK IN HER SLEEP!""Maybe she dreamt it" Olive replied. "No you definatly have leafspeak, last night the plants bloomed and died to your breathing." Mint said from behind Olive This is my nobody likes you. Cowbane looked from Mint to the surrounding plants to Olive. When she made eye contact with Olive her eyes became as thin as a thorn. "YOU HAVE LIED TO ME!!!" Cowbane shouted after a few seconds of silence "I WILL SEND YOU TO QUEEN BELLADONNA RIGHT NOW!!!" Olive was exported to the other village. Queen Belladonna was away to a meeting with so Olive's situation was delt with Foxglove one of Queen Belladonna's adviser. Foxglove was exited about Olive's leafspeak. Queen Belladonna decided to keep Olive a secret from everyone and forced Olive to do the same.

Olive strutted through the swampland with Maple right behind her "SO MANY NEW TYPES OF PLANTS OVER HERE!!!" Olive shouted with excitement, then she turn to Maple "Are you ok?" Olive asked "You haven't said a thing since we crossed the mountains." "Oh sorry these Earthwings, I think that's what their called, are so cool." Maple replied "like why do they like mud so mu- OLIVE!" Olive had made all the seeds in one of the mud pools sprout bloom, covering the mudwings sleeping inside covered in bright orange flowers.

Olive ran to her canopy and carefully parted the leaves to reveal her flower. She had been planning to confess her feelings Toad for a while and today was the day she would tell him. Her flower was bright orange just like the one she covered Toad so many years ago. "Hello Marigold." Olive whispered to the plant Hello Olive it replied "Are you feeling ok?" Olive asked "Do you need water?" I'll be fine. You need to worry less! "Fine I'll try." Olive replied to Marigold. Finally Toad arrived at their meeting spot. "I need to tell you something." They said at the same time. "You go first." Toad offered. "Umm," Olive started, beginning to feel nervous. "I think I view you more than a friend." She admitted. Olive handed Toad Marigold . Toad stared into Olive's eyes and they locked talons together. Toad finally spoke "I view you as a mate." He pulled out a flower too. As he was handing it to her, Olive made the blue petals puff out. Olive held the sky blue flower then she tucked the roots into the dirt as Toad did the same. They patted the soil around the the flowers. Olive made both of them grow their roots and six small flowers. Toad then looked into Olive's eyes, locking talons together. "Mates for life." They said.
