I am curious as to why Isa's eyes are green and not yellow like his Nobody.

Wasn't it explained somewhere that yellow eyes are the sign of someone that gave in to darkness? I know this was explained somewhere. I can't remember if it's in any of the Secret Reports, character journals, or if it was said in-game, or if it was Nomura himself that said it, but it's pretty much common knowledge.
Xemnas/Xehanort/"Ansem": Seeker of Darkness, Terra (in the secret ending of KH2: FM, they show his eyes turning yellow), and Xigbar/Braig also have it too. Not that Braig's ears also turned pointy like Saix's once Braig fell into darkness.
It would make sense, since Heartless' eyes are yellow.
