How to take point commissions and still earn REAL FRESH MONEY!

What you need:

Be a Premium Member BETA TESTER
Have a Paypal


That easy!  


However if you are going to do this dA takes a part of the money you earn. Around 20 Points on Every 80 points [I think]
Which makes you earn only 60 points even if you sell for 80.
That´s why I suggest you think that 1 Dollar = 100 points
Instead of 80, that way you won´t lose anything on it. *w* ~

How to do it!

You need to upload your picture to Sta.sh



Then Click on the Uploaded picture in your Sta.sh.
It should look something like this.




Then you click on the select CATEGORY
It is above the description

Then you should end up HERE



SCROLL DOWN

Until you come to THIS



Here you see down to the left "Generate earnings"
And beneath "Sell downloads as premium content"
Select THAT BOX



And it will look like this!
Here you decide how much to sell your picture for.
As I said dA "takes" 20 points/ 0.20 $ so I suggest to think that 1 $= 100

If you are selling a piece that is a commission for example I suggest that you crop the picture to the extreme or something until the person has Bought it!
OR make a picture beforehand that says "PAY FOR COMMISSIONS HERE"
You can always change how much it should cost, so you can change it for every commissioner

That way the Da points come to use again for real purpose!
HOWEVER
You cannot withdraw your money to PayPal until you have earned at least 5 $

How do I see my earnings?

SIMPLE!



You go to this box. And down to the right you can see "MY EARNINGS"
Click there!

AND.......... VOILA!

I have been reading these comments and now I understand why my earnings got refunded. I have tried to use this new commissions widget and my photo account to convert my points to money but DA won't let me. So it's illegal to get the money I have earned by doing point commissions That's great...

I received the same message. I just can't fathom why deviantART would create the option and set a $5 mimimun rate of withdrawal if they do not want points being withdrawn. Which is sort of what it seems like :C I guess paypal really is the best way to go. Thanks for posting that, I thought I was the only one > ^ >

Same here earned more then 100 usd but I can't withraw it to paypal
Also sended a message about it myself but I had no reply

Strange enough I was able to withraw to paypal a few weeks ago but it was bugged back then which means I was able to withraw my earnings multiple times which means I get the withdrawn money send more then 1 time to my paypal lol (This has been resolved with the helpdesk)

But seems their way of resolving bugs like this is the same as disabling things :/)

This is a website to help out artists they will just do a slap
on the hand then fix everything then leave it be.

It is only bata testing so issues will happen since its not
an actual feature we contact them and let them know if there is any bugs

Math time.

Normaly if you go where you can buy points, you'll get the info:
400 points = # pounds.
But you want to know ? points = 1 pounds. So you do:
400 / # = ? points.
But then DA takes 20% on each transactions. So you do:
10 x ? / 8 = number of points you should make people pay to get 1 pound in points.

What is 1 DOLLAR in POUND
Then that number to count.

Then that AMOUNT is the same as 100 points. ♥

after i select the box and i set the price do l only have to save or submit the devianetion to DA?
and after i set the price... giving the link to the commisioner and if he downloads it i get the "money" on my balance after 14 days?
