"Ehh?! Are you sayin'... that I'm fat?! I... I ain't fat! I'm just big boned! I mean, I'm a growing boy, right? And a growing boy's gotta eat, right? It's not like I can't fit my clothes or anything! Besides, I eat fatty foods all the time and I feel fine!"

*looks down at his round stomach, noticing that he can't see his feet anymore*

"Err... actually... now that you mention it, I do look kinda... fatty... I... huh... I think I need a moment..."

Like I said previously, if Shibutaku is told that he's a fatty, he kinda goes into a existential crisis. He's rather oblivious to how big he is, but once he's made aware of this, he becomes uncharacteristically self-conscious. He'll look at himself in the mirror and examine his impressively round middle, truly taking in just how big he is. This usually results in him drowning in even more food to "stave off the bad thoughts", which naturally leads to him getting even fatter. Obviously, this has happened far too often...
