Ladies and gentlemen, meet Ty'Ron Xanthus, the irresponsible Admiral of the Intergalactic Alliance's Starfleet Militia!

A lover of food and life, Ty'Ron is the type of guy who likes to live his life at his own pace. However, this results in him being somewhat out of tempo with others, making it hard for him to communicate with his fellows. He joins the Arc-V crew not because he was assigned to be one of it's crewmates, but rather he was meant to be an escort for the experimental starship as it departed the Sector-7 colony. That, and he ends up becoming quick friends with a certain Zephyrite who put in a request to have him on board full-time, much to his annoyance.

Ty'Ron is acutely aware that his position is the result of nepotism, becoming an Admiral because he was the Grand Marshal's grandson, and is painfully self-aware of his character flaws to the point he doesn't give himself enough credit for anything. Which is hilarious as he does display occasional moments of brilliance and courageousness and is willing to set aside his own ambitions and desires and place himself in harm's way for the sake of those he cares about, which all goes against his self-characterization of a gluttonous, lazy, awkward mess of a man who believes doesn't deserve the position he's in. Especially since he openly admits that he hates being in a combat situation, hence why he just barely avoided being flunked out of basic training. Despite all of this, he attempts to keep an upbeat attitude and tries to be as helpful as he can.

Perhaps his experience on a Starship designed for war will change his outlook and give him the impetus he needs to better his lot in life. Not to mention growing close to a certain Extra Soft Soldier...
