Description
"He's improving significantly," one of the elders commented as they watched Dar'gul spar against five of the strongest orcs of the tribe. After the chieftain turned Dar'gul into a essentially could be called an incubating reincarnation of the Seven Legendary Warriors of orc legend, he demanded that Dar'gul be put on a rigorous training regimen. Considering that he was heavy with orclings for nearly a year, it was quite clear that the pregnant orc needed the exercise especially if they wanted to make use of him. Much to everyone's surprise though, it didn't take long for Dar'gul to get back into the swing of things."Indeed he is," the chieftain replied, watching Dar'gul with a particular interest.
"I must say, I'm a bit surprised that he agreed to be one of our front line fighters considering his condition," a spectator commented.
"Maybe it's because he's the type to do what he's told. Perhaps that's how he's gotten through life until now," the elder responded.
"But is it really Dar'gul's resolve that has caused him to improve so much?" the spectator questioned. "Or... could it be the power of the Seven Legendary Warriors?"
"Perhaps it is," the chieftain answered after a long silence. "But just because one has power does not necessarily mean they know how to use it." As he said that, he saw Dar'gul being thrown across the arena. He saw him winced in noticeable agony as he fell to the ground, but then quickly and forcibly brushed it off before grabbing a nearby axe and charging at his fellow orc brethren yet again. Then, for the briefest of moments, Dar'gul was enveloped by a green aura and suddenly his posture and dexterity increased. The chieftain smiled as he saw his pregnant warrior gain the upper hand yet again.
"You see that?" the chieftain began again. "He quickly harnessed the power after relying on his own resourcefulness. That combination of talent, skill, and bestowed gifts will be vital to us all."
"If you believe so, my chief," the elder replied as they continued to watch the battle. However, they couldn't help but notice that there was something that was bothering the chieftain. Indeed, there was. For all the talk of loyalty and devotion that Dar'gul proclaimed, the chieftain could sense that his sense of duty was eating away at his emotional core.
'Physically, he could be deadly in a fight if trained properly.' the chieftain thought to himself. 'However, it is his resolve that I am worried about. He's cracking, if he hasn't already cracked, and that could cost him his life. It takes real strength to admit when a warrior has had enough.' As he contemplated this, Dar'gul successfully knocked out the last orc warrior and declared himself the victor. As he motioned him to return to the lobby, the chieftain sighed to himself. Like a father who didn't know whether to be proud of a child's accomplishment, or saddened that the child had to push themselves to the breaking point.
'You're a strong warrior, Dar'gul... but what you need to be is a strong man.'

I guess the chieftain is starting to get a bit concerned for Dar'gul.
