Description
“Damn these pants!” Kodai grunted as he attempted to close the gap between them. A task that was pretty much impossible thanks to his girth. Try as he might, there was not way of buttoning them closed. “They fit just fine before breakfast! Why aren't they fitting now?!”“You basically answered your own question,” Mapocha replied, struggling with his own pants. Though the much larger Zephyrite had the added problem of making sure both his sizable backside and thick tail didn't split his pants down the middle again. His embarrassment would be off the charts.
To explain the situation, Kodai and Mapocha decided to have breakfast together as a way of getting to know each other. Things were rather awkward between the two of them ever since Kodai and Ty'Ron dove into Goliath’s crystal to materialize Mapocha into the physical world. Especially after learning that the comically obese Zephyrite was Goliath's biological son. Forming the idea on the spot, Admiral Xanthus figured the best way for them to get along was to bond over a meal. Which was Kodai's preferred method of bonding with someone. Little did he know what that would entail as Goliath was in comically high spirits that morning, fixing an absurd amount of food for his sons. Try as he might to apologize, Goliath couldn't hold back a stupidly massive grin. He was overjoyed to have a son that he could truly call his own… and he had The Beast of Hope and Possibility to thank for it. It was the only thing he could think of to repay him.
The result is what you see here: two overstuffed Zephyrites who have eaten themselves out there clothes. They ate so much that Kodai was starting to show a noticeable sliver of belly as his shirt rode up across his expanding middle. Mapocha was in the same predicament, with the hem of his shirt nearly grazing his protruding navel. They both decided mid-meal to undo their pants buttons to avoid popping them off into oblivion, but now they had no chance of buttoning them back up thanks to them being so bloated.
“Bucho Mio,” Kodai cursed as he heaved a heavy sigh from another failed attempt. “Who would have thought that dad had a world-class chef tucked away inside that soldier's head of his?”
“Welcome to my world,” Mapocha sighed, feeling the weight his gullet as he sat back down, careful not to put too much force into his seating. “I had to deal with Papa spoiling me like crazy every single day.”
“Every day?!” Kodai exclaimed. “Jeez, no wonder you're such a freakin’ blimp!”
“Big talk, Mr. Extra Soft Soldier,” Mapocha retorted in a huff. “I didn't someone so puny could eat with such… gusto.”
“Hmpf, much practice,” Kodai responded with pride, lifting his shirt and smacking the side of his purple belly and letting it jiggle. Or at least, jiggle as much as it could given how full it was. The two sat there for a moment before they burst into laughter. Just like that, the ice between them was broken. Perhaps Ty'Ron was on to something when he said a long time ago “good food has a way of bringing people together”.
“But in any case,” Mapocha began, grunting as he rose up and sauntered over to his older shorter brother. “I think we need to make a quick trip to the store.”
“You thinking about a gym membership or something,” Kodai quipped, earning wry smile from the larger Zephyrite.
“Nope, I think it's time for some new clothes…”
