When the very earth itself speaks of the legendary macho man, the pinnacle of masculinity... they're talking about ME! The one and only Marcos!!!"

...yep, that's exactly the kind of idiot I'm introducing.

Bitches and bros and non-binary hoes, meet Marcos, a rotund super solider that I've had in the concept stage for the longest time. Loosely inspired by Heavy Duty from G.I. Joe Sigma 6 (which BTW, my God I haven't heard of that show in 50 years...), this massive ball of energy is what you could call my take on the whole "make a detailed cast of characters for the sake of selling toys" gimmick that was trendy in the 1980s. More specifically, he would be a part of a Saturday Morning Merchandise Driven Cartoon meant to sell action figures.

With that in mind, you can probably figure out that his role is the obligatory "Big Dumb Muscle" of this hypothetical group, which... yeah, big arms, big stomach, big man. Totally looks the part. However, what if I were to tell you that this guy is also the poster child for "Decoy Protagonist"? Yep, in my usual fashion, if I were to make this hypothetical cartoon, I'd pull a bait and switch and make it so we follow a generic hero character and he'd be one of the recurring side characters. But then, I'd pull the rug out from under the audience's feet and reveal that Marcos was the main protagonist all along. Of course, I'd slowly lead up to this, mainly by having him appear in every episode, regardless if it centers around him or not.

I've been talking about how I intend to use him as a utility than his character have I? Well,...

As you could tell by his quote above, he's a boisterous man who values strength and manliness above all else! That said, despite his chauvinistic tendencies, he's actually a pretty nice guy and also values things like loyalty and friendship; so much so that if you show him respect, he'll repay you ten times over. In fact, he could be seen as a weird cross-breed between Kamina from Gurren Lagann and Sora from KINGDOM HEARTS; a loud and proud man who has his heart constantly on his sleeve. Though because of that, he does have a tendency to get overly emotional and even somewhat petty. For instance, if you cross him of his friends in any way, he will hold it against you and it'll take a lot to earn back his trust. This, combined with his overzealous personality, can make him a handful; so much so that I imagine his teammates have to hold him back (both figuratively and literally) for other's sake. Overall though, he is ultimately a good man and a damn good ally to have on your side...

Wow, this went on longer than I cared to go. Anyways, make of him what you will and enjoy! I'm gonna go take a nap...
