Description
Golaith was a soldier, not a person. He lived by the mantra of "The mission is all that matters" and nothing more. That was how he always lived his life. At least until he met Princess Alicia Lau Makis, a woman who turned his heart around and showed him something better than war... a family.

While he absolutely loved his eldest daughter, Roxanne, his son Kodai had a special place in his heart. He was absolutely floored when he found out that Alicia was pregnant with a son as their second child. He couldn't explain why, but there was something about the bond between a father and a son that on some deep psychological level that he always wanted to experience. Perhaps because of this, Golaith was perhaps quick to spoil his son, though not to the point where he wouldn't be able to command respect. That being said, Kodai still knew Golaith as his father first and foremost. And he was a rather annoyingly doting father at that, giving him the "affectionate" nickname of Extra Soft Soldier.

So here the two of them are, a former soldier who has learned to love and his son who has only ever heard of warfare but never truly experienced it. However, that would change in due time...
