Description
Proud to have released my League of Legends Game Visual Style!
Download it from my sta.sh
Added the icon packages with some of the most requested icons added to the default style, as well as template for all 5 styles to make your own matching icons.

Self installer: only installs / applies the Visual Style itself, you still need the archive on the right side of the page!
For those who Prefer Small icons taskbar, a fix by Uriy1966
(Replace the WindowsResourcesThemesLoLGame.msstyles with this one after install).

Solution to all the most common issues that makes the skin not display, or not correctly:
(Credits go to a Reddit user called EffigyLoL)
- Download Universal Theme Patcher
- Restore any files that are restorable by it
- Download uxstyle (uxstyle.com)
- Install it
- Switch to Windows Classic theme
- Delete WindowsResourcesThemesLoLGame folder and LoLGame.them file outside
- Run the installer again

You don't have to open the dll file; you have to copy it to the right folder.
Take care not to use the wrong version; if you're using 32-bit OS use the files inside the x86 folder, if you're on 64-bit OS use the one inside x64 folder.
Also take care when handling shell32.dll file, if you accidentally replace it with the wrong file, your Windows will fail to start!
I advice you don't delete the original file, just rename it, then copy mine over. The changes will take effect on the next system restart.

The system files do the following:
shell32.dll: it changes only control panel backgrounds and a few misc icons. I advise you not changing it unless you're sure what you're doing since it can cause system hangs.
explorerframe.dll: maybe the most important, it has the back / forward arrows, etc in explorer windows.
timedate.cpl: it changes the clock when you click on the time.
Anyways the rest are done with the theme file itself (the .msstyles file); until you get that done I suggest leaving the system files as is.

I got it, but I used the Windows Theme Installer. The Taskbar (Thing at the bottom of my screen) Looks a bit different from yours. It does not have the transparent bit where the applications should show up. Not sure why... Maybe you could help? thanks, It's well appreciated!

I'm using Win 7 64-bit
-timedate.cpl doesn't work. I'm sure I've done it correctly
-same goes with shell32.dll, I've done it manually (replacing) then when I restarted my laptop, I can't open any application so I had to restore the original shell32.dll and when I tried the Win 7 Theme Installer it says thay the shell32.dll version does not match. (the original and the replacement) so it can't replace it.
any ideas how to fix this? thank you

Hmm strange... are you using SP1 Windows 7?
I'll have a look at it later, but if worst comes to worst, you can use a resource editor (like Restorator 2009), and edit the files manually. Sadly I have almost no free time until december, so can only find an hour or so much time a week to look around.

hmm I guess I am using SP1 Win 7. There's an "sp1" included in the version name of my shell32.dll at my local disk. This OS was built-in when I bought my laptop years ago. Anyway, I'll give it a try (Restorator). Thank you! I'll let you know what happens then.

When it comes to using it in Windows 8.1 I get denied by difference of shell32.dll

I've accepted the request, though this usually happens when the uxtheme patcher is missing or faulty.
If you don't have yet, then try downloading and installing UxStyle (uxstyle.com); if you already did so, then try installing Universal Theme Patcher (or Ultra UXTheme Patcher) instead.
There are cases when a system only works with one of them, but not with the others for the strangest reasons.

Hi, I seem to be having a problem with the bottom taskbar, I have installed and re-installed the UxStyle Core and it hasn't fixed my issue. My bottom taskbar ends up looking like this: i.imgur.com/g8tt5Hv.png . Help would be appreciated, thanks!

Seems like there might be a couple things going on...
First, to use as intended, go to taskbar properties, and set the taskbar buttons to "Always combine, hide labels".

Alright, the icons aren't squished together anymore but the bar still has the texture all the way across and the time is still out of place, any suggestions?

Uncheck "Use small icons".
For the time, you'll have to change it to 24 hour format (you can do so at Regional and language options).

I don't know if you have a Windows 8 computer to do this on, but you should definitely make a video on how to install the League of Legends theme on Windows 8 since the port has been released . I have tried everything I could to try and get the theme to work but I just can't please help man

Everything is functioning perfectly, however, certain texts are REALLY small, and I've been through the Windows Color and Appearance, and I just cant seem to change it.

Oh didn't notice it, it seems like you've installed the font; you need to set the clock into 24 hour format (you can do so by going to Regional and Language settings).

It's strange, though I'm no expert on troubleshooting Windows 8.1 theme problems, it's usually caused by not (properly) installing an uxtheme patcher like uxstyle (uxstyle.com) or the like.

I'm not too well-versed in troubleshooting Windows 8 issues (only reason I've installed it was to test the theme is working), but basically what I do is:
Install uxstyle
Copy the theme files in my \Windows\resources\themes folder
Apply the theme (double clicking on the .theme file)
If you can provide some details, I might be able to help more.

You needn't uninstall it, if you re-apply the basic theme, it can be considered uninstalled, save that for that few kilobytes files copied.
