Description
this lad has had a complicated history of ownership. i'm going to do my best to take good care of him.

i imagine he'd live in arid plains somewhere like the grasslands of Africa. his species would have evolved with long legs and necks to see over tall grass, but short wings, small bodies, and strong hind legs to jump high into the air and catch birds. long tails, too, for stability when running, and sails to help regulate their body temperature. they're probably predominantly land-based and can only glide for short distances. they're pretty small, only about as tall as a human, and they mainly eat small mammals and birds. they rarely hunt in groups, but when they do, they can take down much larger prey and even some predator species.
